Why “Slice of Sueshe”?
I like alliteration. Ok, I know, it’s not exactly alliteration.
Sueshe is a play on my name and my heritage. I know sushi’s Japanese (I’m Korean), but it was a nickname I had in high school and it stuck.
I like cooking and baking, thus the play on sushi, as well as slice – pie, pizza, cake, whatever.
I’m not a writer. I will probably use commas incorrectly and have a lot of run-ons. I do however try to make sure I spell things correctly.
Slice of Sueshe is where I’d like to post my random thoughts, bitch about anything and everything, have an outlet for my obsession with food, baking, tv and pop culture, my day job, in essence, share a piece of me.
Who is Sueshe?
I ask myself this question every day. Currently, I’m a stay-at-home mom to an almost 3 year old boy (Mister Cheeks or MC) and a newborn girl (Gummi Bear or GB).
I eventually want to own my own business, but I still have a few things to learn. I’m enrolled at a local junior college trying to earn my culinary arts certification. Before GB was born I was working part time at a local bakery. I plan to go back later this year.
I was born in Seoul, SK, grew up in the Mid-West and now reside in East Texas.
I attended a state university in the same state I grew up in and graduated with a BS in Business Administration, yes I said a BS, not a BBA, a BS, BA.
I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. But I have not practiced in many many years.
My husband (Hubby) is a DBA for a local telecom company.
